I know many of you have already had much experience doing this and it is no big deal. Recently, I have had several opportunities to join remote meetings. One of which was a Rotary Club meeting in Waterville, Maine. It was very easy to participate and a good experience. I believe it is important for us to stay connected and up to date with each other and with Rotary. Therefore, I invite you to join me on Tuesday, April 7 at 5pm for a 1 hour Virtual Rotary Meeting. For those who might be timid or unsure about doing this, I assure you it is much easier than you might think. It does require either a computer or smart phone  to access the video and sound. There is a telephone connection possible but they say it may not be accessible because of the high level of traffic.

Download Zoom on your desktop or laptop or smartphone prior to our meeting because it takes a little time. Here is a direct link to access the download: https://zoom.us/download. If you plan to use your tablet or phone, you must first download the Zoom app from the Apple AppStore or Google Play Store, depending on the kind of device you have. Once you have the app installed, here is the link you will use to connect to our meeting: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/604399398 Meeting ID: 604 399 398

Robert Rodner is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: RCM Time: Apr 7, 2020 05:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Join Zoom Meeting https://us04web.zoom.us/j/604399398 Meeting ID: 604 399 398

BTW, there are numerous instructional videos you can Google for using Zoom; some are on the Zoom site itself.

Hopefully, many of you will join me at this inaugural meeting. If "beneficial for all," we can do it again with speakers and presentations as well as for Board and Committee meetings.
